Who is writing THE LIGHT LETTER and what is it about?

My name is Ardas Chandra and I started THE LIGHT LETTER — a newsletter on Substack — in June 2022, with this question: “Where is the Radiant Woman?”

This fashion and lifestyle newsletter is an ongoing research and curation of the expression of the contemporary Radiant Woman.

With each letter comes new tools, new concepts, new recommendations, and inspirations for you to find your very unique expression intertwined with my point of view.

How often do you publish?

• Once a month for the whole list: it’s The Lighthouse, the editor’s letter, if you will.

  The Sunday Light Letter is an exploration of The Radiant Woman style, lifestyle, energetics, and philosophy. This is where we are figuring out the formula (if any?), but also taking away with us inspiration to infuse back into our own lives.

• Once a month, I publish The Lighthouse, for the whole list.

  It’s the Editor’s Letter if you will, a guide, a source of inspiration, a monthly rendez-vous to anchor some guidance and wisdom and help you find your own flow back to your radiant self.

• Occasionally, a bonus post!

How much is a subscription, and what do I get?

Who is Ardas Chandra?

I just turned 32, I’m French, and lived in Paris most of my life until I met my husband and had my first child in 2020, now based in Paris/Hamburg/Dubai. I embrace timeless and effortless style — where la Parisienne meets the Scandi-chic woman.

If you’re into cosmic things, know that I am an Aquarius sun + rising, with my natal moon in Libra, and a Projector (in human design).

I have a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Applied Ethics from La Sorbonne University, I worked in retail, fashion and production, and I studied and taught Kundalini Yoga for a while. Secretly, I always wanted to be a fashion editor and/or a non-fiction bestselling writer. This newsletter is part of my job as an editor and a creative director — it’s research, it’s trendsetting, it’s me observing what’s going on in the fashion, beauty, wellness and spiritual industries — directly delivered to your mailbox.

To this day, I still ask myself on a daily basis: What is not being said here, and how can I uncover it? That’s the philosopher in me. In my wildest vision, I see myself interviewing a variety of people who are decision-makers and future-shapers and ask them about their take on the Radiant Woman!

This newsletter is the place where I merge style, lifestyle, and philosophy — with the theme of the “Radiant Woman” as a direction for my research.
